Janet Top

160.00

Although contemporary in style, this pattern makes me think of Vanessa Bell's decor of Charleston House; the Janet top is all about adorning oneself in glorious print, with tiny clover shaped mother-of-pearl buttons fastening at the back, so as to not break up the pattern. The fabric is beautifully fine and behaves like (and may be mistaken for) silk, which was left over stock from over a decade ago and I acquired these last few metres.   Loose, three quarter length sleeves are hand sewn at the cuff edge as it the hem, the buttons and the inner sleeve binding.

  • Colour; red & copper on ivory
  • Mother of Pearl buttons
  • 100% cotton
  • Average length from shoulder to hem: 57cm (22.5")
  • Hand or machine washable
  • Designed and made in West Cork, Ireland
