This season’s Octavia Shirt has full length sleeves and the neckline is cut slightly not as high. There is something special about a square neckline and although not to everyone’s taste, to my eye, it frames the face quite elegantly. The style is semi-fitted and may be worn tucked in or over another garment. Buttons, fastening at the back, are vintage corozo (coconut shell) and are sourced from Spain, dating from the 1930’s. The Irish linen gingham is a darkish green on ecru and was woven to order for me with this shirt design in mind. The laundered finish has a rustic texture and will wear most beautifully.
