This season’s Octavia Shirt has full length sleeves and is made of black and ecru Irish linen gingham, woven to order by a mill in Wexford. There is something about a square neckline that flatters the shoulders and frames the face elegantly. The fit is semi-fitted to be worn tucked in or over another garment. Buttons, fastening at the back, are corozo (derived from the nut of the Tagua Palm). Finished with French seams and sewn entirely with 100% cotton thread to ensure every material may return to the Earth. The laundered finish has a rustic texture that will feel comfortable and wear beautifully.
